1978-2024: Shakespeare’s Pizza…
Minority Owner, General Manager, Strategist, Tactician, Web Guy, bottle washer, bookkeeper, pizza maker, brand developer, training system author, marketing guy, restaurant floor plan layout designer, sign maker, menu engineer, the guy who put circles on the wooden peels so the pizzas would be the right size, inventory system controller guy, sidewalk snow shovel operator, bar builder, bartender, bar patron, bar none….. and on and on and on.
I either did it, or was in the middle of it, for over 45 years.
2010: Finagled and cajoled the staff at ABC’s Good Morning America TV show to name us Best Pizza in the Country
2009: Landed the second lead in the feature-length, straight to DVD film Mil Mascaras vs. the Aztec Mummy
From way back when before I can remember, to present: Guest Lecturer, University of Missouri Hotel and Food Service Programs

2000: Missouri Restaurant Association Restaurateur of the Year
Sometime in the Eighties, or maybe the Nineties, or thereabouts: Finagled and cajoled our ads onto the Dave Letterman Show once, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno twice.
1990: Daughter #2, Brighton, comes into the world, moving the storm up several categories
1986: Daughter #1, Drennen, comes into the world and takes it by storm
1984: Married the Love of My Life
1981: BSBA Business Administration University of Missouri
1976-1978: University of Missouri Dormitory Cafeteria: short order cook, dishwasher, tormentor in chief of supervisor Mrs. Whitley, line server, and performer of anything else Mrs. Whitley asked of me.
1958-1976: Grew up literally all over the world, east and west coasts and the Midwest, the Philippines, Italy and Europe, traipsing along with my dad, an attorney and U.S. Navy Officer with the JAG Corps.
Plus a whole lot of other stuff that escapes me at the moment…..
