What’s it cost?

Getting together for a quick initial chat is free. I’ll answer any questions you have about me, and I’ll ask you all about what you have planned. Once you feel comfortable with our relationship and feel I can be of value, I’ll request that you consent to signing a letter of engagement clearly outlining our relationship and all costs and fees.

$185/Hour
I’ll spend as much or as little time with you as you like. I keep scrupulous notes that clearly describe everything that I do. You will have complete access to those notes, offering complete transparency. I can help you write a business plan, forecast your cashflow, develop a training program, work with you for financing, find good insurance, engineer your menu, pick out tablecloth colors… or anything else. It would be your call to have me help you with the issues you choose.

$1200/Day
By '“day,” I mean a restaurant day, not 8 hours. I’ll arrive when you do, before opening in the morning. I’ll stay through your peak times, and only leave when operations are winding down. I’ll observe everything and ask lots of questions. I’ll watch your staff, check out your training manuals, meet with your vendors, talk with your bookkeeper, and everything else. I’ll talk with you the whole time about what I see, and offer my suggestions. You’ll get a written report of everything.

$45/hour for travel beyond Mid-Missouri
The first 45-60 minutes or so of travel to you, from my office in
Pierpont MO, are included. That would include Jefferson City, Moberly, Boonville, Mexico, and so on. Beyond that, I gotta charge something.

Other fee structures by arrangement.

Confidentiality

As with many professions, confidentiality is absolute. I will not discuss any topics - sensitive or otherwise - with anyone, even those within your organization, without your express consent.
